Greetings, Not strictly television related, but I thought that this would be the best place to ask for some assistance. Does anyone know where I can obtain a censored/edited copy of Fairytale of New York by the Pogues featuring Kirsty MacColl from 1987 by Jem Finer and Shane MacGowan please? There seems to be a version on YouTube but it is heavily compressed!! Versions on Spotify are all standard sadly. Any help would be much appreciated.

How "censored" do you need? I presume this is because of the "lyrics controversy" in the song?
This edit seems to chop out the entire "problematic" section but I'm not the best person to advise on its audio quality:

Or, you could just get the instrumental mix and cut into that at the points you need to remove the offending lyrics, then back to the vocal track Smile

This is something I did try, but the only instrumental version I could find was on YouTube, which was also heavily compressed.

Look on eBay for a single, many singles of songs contain instrumentals.
