BBC2 Christmas idents

I know these seem to be impossible to find, but I thought it's worth a go.

Does anyone have any video footage of these, or indeed any Christmas idents (BBC1 or BBC2) pre-1974?

As per this video no traces of BBC 2 Xmas Idents seem to exist, nor any pre-1974
But it does show a picture of the 1978 BBC 2 Ident and the Trailer

Yep, well aware of this video (it's fast becoming a Christmas tradition for me!) and I hoped someone might be able to find the missing pieces of this jigsaw puzzle...

Sorry to resurrect an old request, but this was kindly scanned and posted in the TV Lounge forum by "slothpuck" and is an article from the defunct "Television" magazine back in 1990, written by Keith Hamer and Garry Smith:

It features black and white images of several BBC1 and BBC2 idents from 1969 through to 1976, including:

BBC2 Christmas ident 1976

The 1975 BBC2 Christmas ident is a real gem as this is the last remaining BBC2 Christmas ident in the colour era that had no reference point at all.
