1990s BBC 1 and 2 idents music

So the upload service here seems to keep files for a set time only?

I'll redo the whole lot as soon as I can, but it's going to take a while to put everything back...

If I feel like it, I'll add extra ones from the original set that debuted in February '91 and maybe a few short sound clips from stings.

I've decided I'm going to be reposting a number of the clips from before...question is; considering it's several files rather than just two or three, as part of a complete file update, should I post it in this topic, or make a new one?

I have a 14-min digitally remastered suite I compiled of all the BBC idents music you'll ever need. Its great!

I'd love to have a listen to see what you've done with it, sounds interesting.

I won't re-up and re-link to every file through the service here (after a period of time it will all disappear again, I'm sure) but if people are after just a few files in particular, I can have a rummage through what I've accumulated and put up what I have.

I am being serious, yes. I make films and do sound mixing (amongst many other multimedia activities) and a music lover, so I took some time out to make the suite. Any way I can get it to you?

Two ways I can think of, considering the service here isn't adequate for long pieces.

If you have a Streamload account, use that to send it to duke1401 . Failing that, I could PM you an e-mail address to which you can send it, if the filesize allows.



On a side note, funny how everytime I think this thread has died completely, someone bumps it back up with their request for the files because the existing links don't work!

I'll start to put up links like I did originally, for specific requests; any help from those, who downloaded the files when the links were operational, would be appreciated.

If you have something of that quality, best to share it more widely than just to one person. Main suggestion is to go use Dr. Lobster's Upload service (remember to prefix your file KEEP otherwise it's gone in 30 days) or much better still, upload it to the MHP Private Parts. Eitherway, don't keep something that others will appreciate a lot to yourself, it'll become annoying with the countless PMs you'll recieve!

Well I see that POV, but I spent a lot of time on this and only want it to share it with people who love the music as much as I do. It took many hours to remaster it and mix it into a flowing suite. Anyone who IS serious it can PM me
