Evening all,
As the date for this site’s demise draws even closer, I just I’d take the time to let you know about another forum which has just launched and created by one of the users on here, ‘JustMatt’.

It’s called ‘The TV Forum’, and it’s pretty much the same thing where you can discuss all things about TV, TV presentation and so on. Not only that, but you can also talk about Radio, Technology, Websites and even video games. I’m on this site already, (under the same name as I am on TV Forum), so feel free to sign up for an account and come and say hi! And have a nice chat in the process.

Ah but not "TheTVForum.COM" that's the one with the twitter but no site as yet, you're the one with a site but no twitter?

So we're up to 4 potential TVF orum takeovers now... fun!

Gee, much variety in the names there. "it was on The TV Forum." "Which one?" "I dunno."

I'm pleased to announce that I too am creating a forum, Forum Television or Forum TV for short (www.forumtv.uk).

To make it stand out from the others it will only be online from Mondays to Friday afternoons, at which point my secondary forum FWT (Forum Weekend Television) will go online until Sunday evening.

Neither will be online from 6am to 9am weekdays, but I'm in contact with a journalist/TV presenter who's expressed interest in his own breakfast-themed forum to operate during this time.

Took me way to long to realise this was a joke...

(It is a joke, right?)

I suppose it's not surprising that a forum with a section like The Gallery is going to attract lots of people wanting to make their own forum.

And TV Forum isn't the only TV presentation forum that's ever been, there have been lots of sites with similar ideas and attempts to copy it.... it's just the only one that's survived. Question is which one will be the TomD Netowork?

In fact TVF quite unusual in that it was a spin off of a site about TV presentation (again of which once there were loads) but ended up lasting longer than the original site

Well I note that the link there now does something, and goes to yet another site, so that makes 5 new forums.

I didn't know who they were either, but seemingly they've been a member since 2003, and they spent a lot of their time in Requests.
