Zattoo UK, which streams UTV and some minority channels is leaving the UK as well as Denmark and Spain where they have premium packages is closing from the end of May.
However, the Switzerland service continues to expand their UK portfolio by adding Sky's Freesat channels Challenge and Pick (Sky News is already on the platform from 19.2E) as well as UKTV channels Dave, Drama and Yesterday. They've also added 5Select and 5Spike, but no sign of 5STAR. 5USA is already on the platform.
4Seven has also been added in SD, along with Food Network.
Under Swiss law, foreign channels can be shown in the country by cable and IPTV services as long as the signal reaches Switzerland. Although Zattoo have distribution deals with the likes of BBC Worldwide for the BBC channels, where they also show archive BBC material on VOD.
