Britbox have been very quick to change their front page screen on the Firestick to show Captain Tom's War on the header.

Nothing there that even excites me enough to activate my free six months with BT.

But you don't like anything so it doesn't really matter.....

I'll be pleased to stream Drop the Dead Donkey without having to dust off the DVDs and to compare it to GB News.

Yes it'll be nice to watch Drop The Dead Donkey on my laptop. Haven't seen Game On for yonks either, so that'll be fun.

Also, shamefully I've never actually seen The Naked Civil Servant so that'll be fun.

Been watching Drop the Dead Donkey via All4, hope it doesn't leave that to go to BritBox

It won't leave All4, it's a separate deal that certain C4 and Film4 content is shown on Britbox.

Grange Hill beat classic Love Island in streaming stats according to this Guardian report which features Britbox. It also seems that the pandemic has helped raise subscription levels.

Don't we see this a lot though, something nostalgic turns up somewhere that hasn't been seen for a while and then once the initial interest fades, it drops off ratings/stats wise never to be seen again? Not applicable to stuff that hasn't really been off the air like OFOH and Dad's Army and others.
