BBC iPlayer Roku app

Won't load - hanging, stuck on splash screen. Anyone else having problems and/or had this issue before and discovered a remedy?

Did the usual things - restarted my Roku Express 2017 and re-installed the app

Not able to test for a couple of hours, but my Roku SS+ iPlayer was OK very early this morning (around 0020). Have you force updated, that's cured ills in the past?

Yup no joy.

All BBC Apps, iPlayer, News and Sport working fine on SS+, iPlayer checked on NOW Pink too, also OK.

Works fine on my Now TV 4K box.

Grumble. Oh well I very rarely use it but the Baa-Baas v Fiji Game was on and I ended up using TVPlayer....

Still thinking of getting a mini PC to replace all my bit-part streaming products.

If the apps you need are on Apple TV 4K - do yourself a favour and get one of them instead... PCs are terrible at the basic things like Frame rate switching, remote control etc. Nobody wants to be fiddling with a track pad or air mouse to change channel or select their next Netflix viewing.

Apps I want are iPlayer, NowTV, Virgin Media Anywhere, the other UK broadcasters catchup apps, possibly Premier Player, a NAS media browser so Kodi or similar

Anything else, I mean would you like the media moved to a bit to the left or...?

Seems that's the only way to watch football and rugby nowadays is to just buy everything! I should just fork out whatever Vermin are charging for a second box for upstairs really.
