I absolutely hate (and think the powers that be should ban) all toy adverts. Children watch them on Saturday mornings, see all the things that they want which "only cost £59.99", and think it's quite reasonable to expect their parents to buy them. These adverts are seducing our children!!!!!!!!!
(PS If like me you're a 70s/80s child who remembers the old "parents making you watch Swop Shop instead of Tiswas" scenario, and always assumed it was due to programme content, think on. Swop Shop didn't have commercial breaks advertising expensive toys. Mind you, in our day, toys weren't as expensive as they are now, you could buy Star Wars figures for 99p.........OK, I'll shut up....)

Best and Worst Adverts and why?
Fave ads? Well the Boddingtons ones were all superb ("Do you want a flake in that love?" "'Ere Tarquell, are your trolleys on t'wrong way round?" etc etc) The one that still makes me chortle is the Fosters one with the Japanese guy with the robot, who comes home to find the robot in bed with the hoover.
