Is TV Ark ever going to become s mobile-friendly website, so I don't have to keep zooming in all the time? And please change away from Flash videos.
You're not the only one. I primarily use either an iPhone or iPad now (rarely desktop) and that's the one site I cannot use. I did have a browser on the iPad that allowed me to play flash, but it didn't work well with TV Ark.
The current site and player are nearly 10 years old and shows its age., this pre-dates HTML5, and certainly YouTube was in its infancy back in 2006. I certainly remember the relaunch and the big disappointment when many of the videos had not been converted to the new player.

Of course, you don't have to remember, you can just go back to page 1 of this thread! I do enjoy how the thread title is still 'Relaunch and beyond' just over 9 years after it happened.

The 'relaunch' that was more like a crash. Took the site down for nearly half a year, then uploaded it with virtually no content. A real shame!

Actually, it was still Real Player clips when the 2006 relaunch took place - the shift over to Flash video came about 4 years' later and was actually very well done with no downtime to the site. But, you're right, that 2006 relaunch took a *long* time to complete.

The only other section needing to be finished off would be a couple of pages of LWT http://www2.tv-ark.org.uk/itvlondon/lwt-contmenu.html To be fair ALL the history pages are needing to be completed. I did send in some stuff to help out last year, and there has been some tidying up aswell so, If you know were to look you'll deffo notice it.
