Sorry about that scottishtv. Shortly after the 1st grand total was revealed, I noticed another total of just over £1 million, but didn't catch who it was from, so I didn't post it. Thank you for observing it was by Maltesers.

Thanks. I thought you might have been making a political point about the promotion of unhealthy foods in the name of charity, but it now appears not.

£4,064,106 raised by the sales of Red Nose Day T-shirts, onesies etc. at TK Maxx. Well done.

Just for the record, I bought the red Oscar Wilde T-shirt (designed by Anya Hindmarsh) and am wearing it today.

Are you also sporting a red nose?

No. I didn't fancy going around wearing a red nose today, so I didn't buy one.

However two years ago I bought two Red Nose Day 2013 wristbands from Sainsburys, Green Park Bath, and having previously worn them for RND 2013 two years ago, I'm wearing them again today - one on my left wrist and one on my right wrist. I'm also wearing my red Sondico sports shorts (that I normally wear for circuit training at Bath Sports Centre Wednesday evenings) over my jogging bottoms; several people I saw around Bath today liked me wearing those shorts over my jogging bottoms.

It's Red Nose Day, not Red Shorts Day.

True, but you don't necessarily have to wear a red nose. You can wear anything red to "join in". Look what I've worn today that's red:
1) My official RND 2015 T-shirt - the Oscar Wilde one designed by Anya Hindmarsh; I deliberately bought the red version as opposed to the white one (even though TK Maxx Bath didn't have many red ones of that design left when I bought mine late afternoon Tuesday this week; they had loads more white ones of htat design).
2) My red hoody.
3) My red Sondico sports shorts which I'm wearing over my jogging bottoms.
4) My RND 2013 wristbands - they're red.

In addition I've got loads of red coats, and I've worn most of them around Bath today, albeit in most cases just a few minutes each, to maximise the number I could wear late afternoon today.

Now for National Treasures. I hope that will be worth watching. The Vicar of Dibley and the James Bond thing earlier weren't up to much, and the first sketch of all two hours or so ago (Mr. Bean in the church) was downright sickening and disgraceful.

Gutted I missed the audition shows for National Treasures.

We've just heard about what RND 2015 merchandise Sainsbury's have been selling the last few weeks. I've noticed Sainsbury's Green Park Bath have been selling them recently, e.g. deely boppers, noses, etc.

£11,521,278 from Sainsbury's for the sales of RND 2015 merchandise. Well done them, even though I didn't buy any (the RND 2013 wristbands I've been wearing all day today are the ones I bought there two years ago).

Now for the second grand total of the night: £46,017,034. Amazing considering it's not even 22:00 yet! At this rate they'll be well over £100 million by 02:00 tomorrow morning.

Why do you think it's called Red "Nose" Day and not "wear all red" day?
And who the frig wears a t-shirt, hoody, shorts and wristbands on their nose of all places? You'd have to be Pinocchio...
