Problems tonight on ITV London, first two reports failed to air...Charlene did handle it quite well although the bulletin was quite distorted.

I'm a fan of Charlene as a presenter but I don't think she's so good at ad-libbing.

She was covering a charity event in Spitalfields. Katie's probably doing them a favour as once again, they appear to be short staffed.

To be fair, it wasn't Nina interviewing Katie. Katie did the live as a reporter and interviewed one of the people participating in the event despite being the ambassador.

She was covering the event, whereas they could have easily sent Lucrezia, Ria or whoever works on ITV News London this week to interview both people.

It was made clear on the strap that Katie is a broadcaster rather than "Katie Derham - Reporting"

Considering Katie's role at the event, it was a surprise that they let her do the interview instead of sending another journalist to interview her and one of the participants.
