Same with BBC Look East, few sound issues at the beginnning with Stuart on Location at a track in MK. Rain fell as he closed the programme.
Just to note a report about cycling in the east at some point including athletes, featured a 8mile ride with a small group of media and enthusiasts I believe Jonathen Wells from Anglia appeared twice on his bike during the report from Nikki at BBC.

Some regions have light boxes with printed 'newsroom' backdrops in them, but with some neat cycling lighting behind some of the areas, so that the background doesn't look static and printed. It's to give an impression of screens changing etc. Not all studios have the depth required for rear projection and/or the budget for it, for every wall.

Is the backdrop in the Norwich studio for Look East printed or not? Because this has always been one to confuse me, as the screens change in the background, which would obviously suggest it isn't printed, and possibly rear-projection?

Interesting to see where the cash for this fanfare LE are making has come from!
Well Look East are unusual in having two studio centres both now with decently studios - so it may not have cost them that much to do, rather they're making use of what they have flexibly?
Ah, well that makes it a bit better - I just feel for the people of the respective news region - losing out for coverage of an event that ended 2 weeks ago!

Susie has now left for her maternity leave. David presented tonight and what seems to be a 'David' thing he always seems to get a hand in the frame when the camera is at the weather, he moves his papers and just gets in the bottom left corner sometimes during a report the other side.
A little mention at the end for her send off and David made a few jokes.

Has there been any news related to ITV closing local newsrooms. For example, Anglia Tonight has/had offices here in Ipswich, with a 2007-ish sign outside the offices advertising ITV Local and Anglia Tonight. However, they've taken that window display out, and the building is up for rent or sale or whatever. Therefore, my question is, have they cut back and closed this newsroom, or have they just taken the sign down?

Does Anglia still have their office in Northampton?
(Found it funny, an hour out of Brum on a train, I was in another ITV region!)

From next Monday, lunchtime and weekend weather bulletins on Look East will be provided by BBC London. Elizabeth Rizzini (ne้ Austen), Kate Kinsella and a return to the East for Wendy Hurrell who are the new presenters.
This is part of the DQF cuts which have introduced regional weather hubs.

So for BBC Look East does this mean more weather bulletins? Currently the weekend forecasts only include whoever is presenting reading a summary. I believe the same happens in the evening - so does this mean there will now be live late forecasts (well for either the East or West opt).
