On Scott Mills' Radio 1 show they did Badly Bleeped Swearing where they'd bleep innocent things to make them sound suggestive. Ofcom weren't happy and they got in trouble. No fun these days.
I think it was Beadle's About who used to bleep words even if they weren't swearing just for comic effect - though of course nowadays they'd be accused of fakery and probably get sued for making the unwitting participants look like foul mouthed yobs!

That's made me remember a sketch of TV Burp about a Five documentary on King Penguins. They inserted a bleep before 'King' making the presenter sound like he was saying "here are some ***king penguins."

Not necessarily. They did also use a speech bubble symbol over their mouths though which is probably why you think that.

It's not exactly original, I'm Sorry i Haven't a Clue has been doing 'Censored Songs' for many years: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VE_9LCCa2uc#t=1m21s
it's also a regular on Jimmy Kimmel's US talk show: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WOaoMvkWDeY

One of the best episodes last night IMO, with an interesting analysis on the Haiti coverage putting FOX News in a better light than the BBC, the much deserved ripping to shreds of Live at Studio Five and the relationship between celebrities and the news.
And great to here Charlie telling us to "go away" at the end of the show once more - I was beginning to think the over zealous BBC had deemed that catchphrase inappropriate or something stupid.

I'm sorry but that Joe Swash bit during Live from Studio Five had me in stitches for ages.
