I want to get clips from Granada Sky Broadcasting for the new sub page for other channels section. I want to get clips from UK jukebox channel The Box.
I want to get clips of the launch of Granada Talk TV and the last day broadcast of GSB channel and sky 2.
I want to get clips from the MTV Europe last TX for UK and the start of MTV UK.
I also want to get clips from cable & satellite channel closedowns, start up and handovers such as Sky 2, Fox Kids, TCC and Sky One for the new sub page for other channels section.

Ahh...thanks for pointing that out, the Page Generator we now use to build our pages doesn't allow hyperlinks to be placed in free-standing blocks of text. It looks like when we relaunched in 2006, I cut and pasted the text directly from the old version of the page.
I will have to relocate the original direct URL and place this within the text; unfortunately you won't be able to click on it but at least you can paste to your browser.

Simon, on the BBC1 page where it talks about the 'COW' logo it says to click here for an account of how it was created, but there's nothing to click on. Will there be a feature soon?

I'm afraid that the word on Bridgeland Street is that you're unlikely to get an answer to that one, Hyma.

It's a program that writes the bulk of the code automatically. Just lots of input boxes really. I think its a compromise between hand-writing the pages and a proper CMS. The truth is, if Simon really wanted to, he could make that bit of text a link once more by using the appropriate HTML code.

Is that a custom CMS you use Simon?

Do we take that as you reporting an element of laziness then?

I expect so. I mean, this flippin' relaunch has taken them since '06 and they still aren't done - it wouldn't surprise me to learn that they really can't be bothered to put a link inline.
