It was so terrible that I felt embarrassed for them. It wasn't just the set, but it was how bad Carol was on live tv. One moment that was particularly bad was Carol getting the wrong camera at the end. I know it's only day one and there getting used to it, but how terrible.

I agree with the Judge Judy fans.. at least she has some personality, and uses her evil dragon eyes on people she doesn't like and screams 'Don't TAWK when I'm TAWKING' at random intervals.

Personally, I think the worst thing about the execrable People's Court was the set - it was about twice the size that it should have been, especially since most viewers at that time are used to the ol' 'sardines in a can' Trisha set. That bloody Scottish judge just made herself even more irritating by shouting every single thought that came into her mind half a mile away to the 'defendant' and 'claimant' (ooh see itv day using big words to make it seem all formal and stuff).

I doubt it will last long. What about the rumour I heard about Jerry Springer filling Trisha's slot (as it were)?

It's not a rumour - Springer is currently filming a series for ITV

Just when Trisha leaves ITV at 9.25, Chav TV continues in the same slot with this programme. The funny thing is one of the people on today's show keeps calling the judge "bruv" ! Can't see that happening in the real world .lol

"You are about to enter the courtroom...
The people are REAL
The cases are REAL
The judgements are FINAL
This is HER courtroom
And this is Judge..."

Rhona????

WIthout the extra cheese, I don't think this kind of show really works. Although they did especially try to make it cheesy with the title sequence, but somehow it isn't Judge Judy...

I imagine they are going to rotate the judges as today's judge was male, seemed down to earth rather than someone who has the leadership of a judge.
