The paint/art ident was the very first one used this morning into Countdown which, somewhat appropriately, was the first programme where everything switched over to the 80s style. Took a little longer to get this online as there seemed to be some errors in the DSat transmission this morning which needed correcting. I think someone missed a trick not announcing it as 'And now our first programme - Countdown' though.

Will anyone be videotaping any of the presentation today to give it the 80's VHS feel?

Or they could just record and edit it to look 80s?

I'm pretty sure there's a bit of a difference between recording digitally and using the VCR effect and recording it onto a real VCR.
Swimming Pool Ident used before Come Dine, I don't remember them using that for the trailers at all but I remember the art style one before Frasier.

"It's a Sin is on at 9 tonight. But first, a sin to broadcasting itself: it's Steph's Packed Lunch."
As I'm watching Channel 4 all morning, hearing the CA mention 'It's A Sin' every single time when introducing every programme, dare I say it's now starting to make me sick of hearing about it and not want to watch!

Still better than pre-recorded "Watch programme X on All4, the UK's biggest free streaming service" announcements you usually get for most of the morning.
