So the Eurovision socials are somewhat teasing the revamped logo for the 2021 contest, still continuing the "Open Up" of the unfortunately cancelled 2020 contest.

I reckon the third teaser tweet will be the final logo.

So the 2020 logo looked back at Eurovision's history, this one is about looking forward.

It's also possible the 2021 logo will be coloured in the flag colours like the 2020 logo was to be if COVID didn't happen.



Also I think this is clever, most of the coloured segments on the top in this example, represents the winner from that country.

Eurovision Again comes to it's conclusion for 2020 tonight, with the most requested amongst fans 26 semi-final entrants that failed to qualify for the finals being showcased and voted upon.



Stijn Smulders and Rob Holley have put hours into this one. The rights must have been horrendous too to get cleared. Let alone the editing.

So far it's superb.

This year is based on a central idea of "The Track", a continuous flag-like beam that symbolizes opening up:

Twelve months ago today .... the allocation draw was performed, which will be used again this year.

Tonight it was the French national final. It was a great show, with 12 songs in the running. Less said about the COVID rules though!

The winner was Barbara Pravi with ‘Voilà’.
