The picture went black for a good 30 seconds and then returned with no sound, with a caption added to say as such - and an apology following in commentary.
I guess the C4 deal only covered three games per autumn hence Amazon getting this fourth - unless it was traded in return for highlights, which tonight they screened at 7pm rather than 11pm.

Odd difference between the IRFU and Channel 4’s press releases back in September on this matter. According to the IRFU, Channel 4 should have had the Ireland game on Saturday - as RTÉ did - but the C4 press release makes no mention. Seems to lend to the theory that it may well been a swap of that game for highlights.

Rugby Nations Cup.
I believe, could be wrong though, that the Ireland place match was on AZPV as only the 'group stage' matches were traded across to Channel Four as part of the existing IRFU - Channel 4 deal.

FIFA World Cup qualifying draw taking place tonight, surprised that the BBC or ITV have not taken the feed for broadcast.

The World Cup qualifying draw has never been on terrestrial television, it goes on for ages and it's of limited interest, certainly compared to the draw for the tournament itself. It's on iPlayer and that's as much as could be expected, really. The fact the Beeb are even showing it is the big thing, given they won't be showing any of the qualifiers on a national basis.

Remember Sky showing this a few seasons ago when they played each other in the league. Of course it comes from the one season, 2001/02, when Sky didn't have rights to the Football League, and the commentary from the match is actually Alastair Mann's commentary for Football First on the ITV Sport Channel.
Given how low EFL on Quest rates when it's on Freeview and features all three divisions, God alone knows how few people were watching Football First, the ninety minute second tier-only highlights show on a Saturday evening on the ITV Sport Channel. I know it was the only time my friend ever watched it, because he said the pundits were all clearly sitting on the fence and trying their hardest to stay even-handed in case they accidentally libelled anyone, so they had to keep on saying "Well, maybe he doesn't look particularly injured there, but we have to assume that he is", and so on.
Talking of Sky Sports News, there's some very nice, clean, archive footage of a very early Soccer Saturday in this "Battle of Bramall Lane" featurette
