In the main BT studio then. Do BT produce this for them?

It's the main studio used by BT Sport that Timeline operate. BT use a lot of Indies to produce their own content - though I think some is in house - and it's unlikely BT would produce content for the BBC (unless it was a shared show)

AIUI the BBC NFL Show continues to be produced by Whisper TV (who have a strong relationship with Timeline through their Channel 4 F1, SailGP etc. productions) I think previously the show came from a smaller studio at Timeline/BT's Stratford studios - but I guess social distancing (both in front and behind the camera) means using the larger studio makes sense at the moment?

I think it's just because it was the Thanksgiving special.

They usually seem to record it earlier in the week, then just slot in the Thursday night highlights (crucially compared to the other games, there is no analysis).

But with it being Thanksgiving and the original intention of having 3 games on the Thursday night (only two were actually played due to the Baltimore Ravens/Pittsburgh Steelers game being called off due to the Ravens having 20 players on the COVID list), they may have recorded it on the Friday and the usual studio may not have been available.

BBC One not having a very good day today, not only with the previous Pointless issue, they've also lost all the sound for the FA Cup Draw! They got it back just in time before they started the draw so...

Are BT Sport doing the draw at Stratford. Was there sound on their own channel?

I don't know if I'm going crazy but I swear there was sound in the background during the draw - sounded like something rewinding on-air (but obviously nothing was).

Looks like it might have been an issue with the feed BT were providing the other broadcasters, rather than (another) fault with BBC 1. The world feed presentation, which normally joins BT/BBC's draw presentation as soon as it starts, spent nearly a minute holding on a graphic before joining BT just before the bag was emptied.

I watched online, and there were no sound issues.

Daily Fail website making a big deal out of "TV footage of [1966] World Cup final glory is now being transformed into full colour for the first time" and seem to imply nobody's ever seen it in colour. Think this was discussed earlier in the thread. The original broadcast would have been black and white, yes, as colour transmission wasn't a thing until the following year but its definitely been seen in colour after the event, although most of it was from separate (non broadcast) film cameras.

Wasn't it on C4 earlier this year in colour? Colour footage has been around as long as I can remember it.

No, the C4 screening was in black and white, using both BBC and ITV coverage (I think because the BBC coverage is incomplete). It's true it's on colour film, but not on colour VT.

God knows what sort of graphics are being generated for the NI v Faroes women's game on the BBC online stream

They don't look that bad, other than the scorebar. The team lineup graphic had a rogue #BBCIrishPrem hashtag so I assume these are established graphics that BBC Sport NI have repurposed (but missed the hashtag) rather than something cobbled together for the occasion.
