They got artist Dreph in for this week, his work has been seen in Shoreditch (London), Tate Modern and on EastEnders:

Liking the detail around the ITV logo (and an accurate shape!)

The more I see these idents, the more I’m captivated by the detail on the whole piece, as has been said the effects to the screen footage, the wonderfully created ITV wall with the lit logo (makes the logo the emphasise at the end which works very in my opinion), and the beautiful depiction of the artist’s father in spray paint. One of the best of this whole package (2019-).

Must say this is my favourite set in quite some time - just look great on screen. A tweaked version would make a great Christmas ident.

I wouldn't expect anything new for Christmas. They'll just reuse last year's.

I don't know - ITV have been quite selective as to when and why to introduce new idents this year so although I suspect one or two from last year may be recycled I think they'd be keen to inject one or two new ones as well. I wouldn't be completely against them doing a Christmas version of the #ITVKidsCreates idents.

Strange how ITV gave up on Black History Month a day and a half early. The 6pm local news was introduced by a Carleen de Soza's ident, then there was one last showing of the BHM ident for Emmerdale, then back to CdS's idents for the rest of yesterday and today. An odd decision.

What was the final BHM-themed programme to be broadcast on ITV? Possibly the "Tonight" programme presented by Alex Beresford at 7:30pm on Thursday?

Maybe the plan was to drop the BHM idents once the BHM programming season was over? Although that wouldn't explain why they were still being used for the most of Friday (unless there was anything particularly BHM-orientated about any/all of Friday's daytime programmes and Emmerdale?)

Not major enough for its own topic. A lovely credit style for the Pride of Britain awards. White text on the bottom of the screen (4:3 safe area) instead of the centre of the screen.

Think this weeks ident has been used before but certainly passes off as an early Christmas effort.

I wonder if we might see one of the Christmas idents starting on Monday, or whether they will wait until December (I.e Tuesday)?

They didn't wait until the Monday last year to put out the first Christmas idents (the one with the logo antlers) but since the 1st is on Tuesday, they might just put them out on the 30th. Or they'll stretch out the current week's ident for an extra day.

Wonder if we’ll see Christmas trees etc up on all the daytime shows from tomorrow? I’d say they’ll probably have Christmas idents given the BBC will have already gone ahead with theirs.

Strangely Loose Women had their Christmas decorations up on Friday coupled with twinkling music and graphics. They may have gone early because the guest was Shakin’ Stevens, who is synonymous with the festive season.

I’ve noticed that This Morning have added a festive ribbon to their YouTube thumbnails, so I’m assuming that their trees will be adorning their set.
