Normally it would be Scottish Cup Final day, and as that's a 3pm kick-off in recent years they've shown both matches, with BBC Scotland joining the FA Cup Final coverage just before the kick-off. With the potential for them to join it in progress had the Scottish Cup Final gone to extra time.

In previous years it's been a close run thing - one year there was ET, pens, a small pitch invasion and the presentation taking them right up to 5.30. I think they managed the handover quite slickly given the circumstances.

Some good news for Horse Racing fans after quite a long impasse between ITV and the Horse Racing authorities

Great news - they've made it watchable again after C4 completely screwed up getting exclusive rights by axing the production company and many of the presenters that had made C4 Racing so watchable for so long.

Indeed, but of course it's only in recent years that BBC Scotland have shown the FA Cup Final as the Scottish Cup Final would have kicked off at the same time. There were a couple of occasions in the nineties when they were on different weeks but BBC Scotland couldn't show the FA Cup Final as there were league fixtures still going on in Scotland, and there were lots of complaints to the Radio Times and Points of View that they showed shinty instead.

Yes, don't follow Racing week in week out but watch some of the big meetings such as Cheltenham, Grand National & Derby and ITV Sport coverage is really impressive and an improvement on Channel 4 last few years. I know people slag off ITV Sport a lot but generally their coverage the last few years across the board has been great from Football to Rugby to even Snooker & Darts although they may have made a mistake removing Clive Tyldesley as commentator and replacing with Sam Matterface.

Speaking of Clive Tyldesley he has joined Rangers TV as a main match commentator this year and as a result might limit his appearances on talksport in future.

Poor fans in Scotland, even in the years when ITV Sport had the FA Cup Final they didn't show it on STV when they were having their dispute with ITV.

Motorsport fans would be advised to have a look at the latest iteration of the Red Bull Connected TV App. There's been a considerable increase in content for MotoGP and a selection of Formula 1 material is included.

A number of MotoGP documentaries produced by Dorna previously shown on BT Sport are now hosted too.

The other documentaries and films are worth a look too. Many of them when sold retail for around £10 each.

Blocks of content is available in 4K too.

Yes, but apart from 2010 (when it was exclusively on ITV), viewers in Scotland have been able to see the FA Cup Final every year since 1998 on Sky, Setanta, ESPN or BT. Similarly, viewers in the rest of the UK have been able to see the Scottish Cup Final on Sky.

A short broadcast from Formula E, on the eve of their resumption of racing in Berlin. Although quite short, the live section was incredibly well put together.

Another change at ITV for England games as Lee Dixon becomes co-commentator alongside Sam Matterface for the future.

I'm not sure why ITV need to announce a specific England co-commentator, it's hardly a full-time job.

Not sorry to see Sunday Supplement go, seeing some self-important journos droning on. Getting journos on all channels, like when ITV always used to do a bit from the press box after England matches, often felt like a bit of a transparent attempt to allow them to air critical comment without saying it themselves and annoying the rights holders.

Also that article states Clive Tyldesley is commenting on the Champions League for NBC, but from what I can tell NBC aren’t the rights holder for that.
