Oh, here's a treat I've never seen before. Chris Tarrant on Live with Regis. Regis' wife Joy is filling in as co-host. Chris took a Concorde to be there for this interview!

WWBTAM is currently being filmed without a studio audience at the moment.

It's due to return to ITV's autumn schedule with no return date being decided yet. The Ask The Audience lifeline is not being included in this series as ITV are not allowed to have a studio audience in place due to the UK's social distancing guidelines. It will have 2 Phone a Friend lifelines with a 50:50 instead so that players will not be given an advantage when answering questions to JC.

Thanks. But this news has already been discussed in two threads including this one in the past couple of weeks. I wouldn’t be surprised if they’ve wrapped up the recording now. Although they might try to get several series done in one go whilst they’ve got Clarkson.

Yes. Why wouldn’t there be?

I read your original post wrong.

So despite the lack of a studio audience for spoilers, Jeremy has given out a pretty major spoiler regarding the new series!

Could just be Jeremy trying to generate headlines. He didn’t go that strong last time, but I’d argue he hyped up something that didn’t really live up to what he said during the last series.

That pisses me off. An unnecessary spoiler which is disrespectful to fans of the show IMO, made even worse by coming from the show itself. It's like Line of Duty trailing their new series by telling us who they'll be killing off.

Gameshows are weird in that, if people know there is going to be a top prize winner they’re are more likely to tune in. I think it will deliver extra ratings for that week and in that regard the spoiler will have done it’s job. I think the issue is every future series will just see some people not tuning in, because they’ll think no ones going to win the Million as they haven’t already heard about it!

I agree, there's no reason for this spoiler/leak. It just ruins the build up and suspense that a complete random will get the top prize out of nowhere, unexpectedly. Millionaire learned this the hard way back when Judith Keppel's win was "leaked", it caused controversy for no reason, after which no more "potential winners" got leaked out to make it more suspenseful.

Now all people are going to do is watch every episode until the winner is seen, then quit out because no one will duplicate it.
