Piers has signed on for another two years of GMB.

I've just signed on for another two years of total and utter aversion to ITV breakfast.

And the team are just delighted!

So two more years of Piers Morgan bashing the BBC over their licence fee, as he moaned about to Martin Bell. What is the obsession with the BBC that GMB, and especially Morgan has?

The licence fee is here to stay until at least December 31st 2027 - Boris can not undo that in his new majority government. The charter is signed and sealed.

Never knew Piers Morgan was a member of Digital Spy.

Well, 75% of their articles nowadays seems to be "This is what happened on GMB this morning"

And that is why they've renewed with Piers.

Piers is the only thing keeping the GMB ratings the way they are, if GMB were to lose Piers they would also lose many of their audience to the BBC.
Even though Piers can be a pain in the backside at times, he is a fantastic presenter and i have full respect for him.

He is their biggest asset, but also their biggest liability. They've clearly struggled with the stand ins though so there is no obvious replacement in waiting. If he did go we'd probably be looking at it being Jeremy Kyle's TV comeback.

Hasn't Britain suffered enough this week?

Thank you ITV for keeping him out of the US for two years (aside from his appearances on Daily Mail TV). Does anyone know what he’s like to work with? Is a jerk, a diva or is a lot of his stuff just an act? A few clips I’ve seen he seems to show compassion or knows of peoples kids.
