So far all anyone has suggested as far as what the BBC may it may not do is to be presented by males.
I’d suggest Maitlis did the grilling of politicians.
Mishal Husain will have a roll and Reeta Chakrabarti has also played a part in the last two elections so I’d expect to see her take a roll.
Andrew Neil need not play any part in election night.
Well, I guess it depends on how hungry Mishal is..........
Hopefully Neil will 'John Peel, This is your life' him and surprise him live on air, offering to record the interview right after he's finished with Marr.
Earlier in the thread I posted the information from Digiguide on the BBC's planned coverage, here is ITV's:

I would definitely agree from some of you guys here that, in Ireland, having a possible GE held on the 28th of December will be a farcical idea. It's definitely the worst possible time to even have one. Everyone can lose out here if they have a GE held very near the tail end of December. First of all there is nearly all of the Irish public servants/civil servants who are off on their Christmas holidays. For the broadcasters here; they will be reduced staffing levels over the Christmas for those working in RTÉ, TG4 & VM Ireland. They will be back to normal staffing levels in early January. A lot of people who are away from Ireland just for Christmas wouldn't be able to vote in that time frame. The turnout more importantly at this time might fluctuate compared to previous GE's especially during Christmas as a lot people will be moving around the country at that time either going back to their own homes or starting to get back to work.
If I had an idea about when it will be held at all if that outcome was reality on Tuesday. I think the GE will happen in Mid-January.
Would that be a good idea folks or am I just generalizing on speculation?
Just listened to the new / updated theme. I didn't think it was possible for me to completely despise a theme tune, but alas, that has just been proven wrong. I don't really know what to say, other than: I hate it.
The mix used on The Andrew Neil Interviews is a tad better than the debate theme. Those synthy horns are pretty bad though...
I'm guessing ITV will use the same remix of its usual music as it did the last couple of times - a pity as they had such fantastic election themes in 2010 and 2005.
