Would this be better in a new thread?

Yes. New thread, please. Otherwise, it will just get “buried” here amidst Brexit and Victoria Derbyshire stuff. Lol.

New titles, music and slight changes to the set... don't think it would warrant a new thread.

Good job making new threads is free then!

They clearly think they have money to burn changing titles so soon after they were Reith-ed and appointing yet another presenter when they've got more than enough as it is who have managed to cover all shifts till now. It's not even as if the new presenter is on five days a week - only three! Maybe they would have been better concentrating on properly rolling out Reith across all templates such as travel in the morning.

The new presenter isn't new at all - she's a BBC Scotland newsreader. The title change is long overdue but may be little more than a recoloured version of the English regions effort.

Unsure if anybody else noticed this, but the old pre-Reith coming up sting appeared right after the correct one, leading into the News at 10. Interestingly, the one which played by mistake seemed to be far lower in terms of video quality than the correct one.

A nice 2 and a half minute long headline sequence there as well.

Don't think it is significant enough for a separate thread but:

Old style paper review for both versions this evening, the AR graphics broke (the circular graphic on the table was across Lukwesa instead), then the 11.30pm bulletin just played under the older system

I wonder why BBC News at One wasn't extended with this Trump press conference like with Bin Laden

No AR graphics either for the Sunday morning paper review it seems either when having a quick look on iPlayer

Because a statement from Trump isn't verification an event has actually happened.

Not sure if it's just me but I actually prefer the paper review without the (pointless IMO) AR graphics as it's easier to understand without the gimmicky transitions all over the place which are just distracting.
