Well let’s hope the UK pull out of it.

No doubt he had 26 tabs open with every different outcome typed out ready to post.

Slowly closing the tabs as results were read.

No need for 26. 25 for every country except the UK gives certainty of having the winner open.

Is that what The Scouts teach? If at first you don't succeed, spit your dummy out and go off in a strop.

You weren't listening to Graham telling us how he'd do well when other country's results came in, and how he'd shoot up the list when the public vote is announced Wink

But then we’ll never know what Reith looks like on Eurovision.

We'll definitely win Eurovision before Reith has been rolled out completely across the BBC.

Simple subtraction of the available votes..

Indeed, I thought it must have been possible to calculate when the leader was unassailable - obviously the BBC don't want to spoil the tension.

I'm fairly sure Graham did last year.

Anyhow, is it too early to speculate on the location for next year? In the years following Dutch wins, the contest has been hosted in Hilversum, The Hague, Amsterdam, and *checks notes* London.

It's probably going to be Amsterdam, isn't it? RAI has hosted before (and will be familiar to many broadcasters - it's home to the IBC trade show), but doesn't seem as much of a music venue as it may have been in 1970. Ziggo Dome, maybe?
