It's been a really good show tonight, kudos to Channel 4 for putting the effort in first and foremost. Brilliant promotion and overall look this year - a great set. And of course Davina is a pro, alongside Alan. Dr Christian felt like a bit of an add-on but obviously he has the expertise.

I really didn't mind the entertainment tonight. Gogglebox was plugged a lot, and I'd have preferred longer slots. It all seemed a little disjointed. But other elements were very good, like the celebrity selfie Alan took, and the singing of 'Brave' with Nicole Scherzinger. I really enjoyed The Last Leg parts too.

I think they've done a really good job, and the content hasn't really been much worse than CiN, which has been awful after 10pm in the last few years.

Love a good technical problem, loss of sound, then problems with the picture, now just a static image of the SU2C numbers
Put The Telly On and declan gave kudos

Plus a humerous continuity announcer who is doing a good job of keeping us entertained in the meantime.

It seems the only thing they can show is the tower of celebrities on the phone sketch.

Channel 4 currently on a trailerthon, I presume they've lost the sound feed from the live recording ?

The balcony shots with Davina and Alan earlier is the same used for London Live's Balcony TV sessions.

Fair to say this years event was far more successful than the first, raising over £14m on the night, double the effort last time. Ratings peaked at over 4m in the 9-10pm hour.

It'll be interesting to see whether they leave it another couple of years or now make it an annual thing.

I doubt it will become an annual thing, the USA version is only every two years. SU2C No3 in the UK will be in October 2016.

It depends how Channel 4 views the success of this year's event, as Brekkie implied. They may just make it an annual thing.

I'm watching through Friday night's broadcast now. It doesn't seem any worse than the CINs and Comic Reliefs of recent years.
