Steve Scott reporting for GMB in Cape Town today, well his shot was taken to air...he wasn't cued though! Matthew Snelson of Australia's Channel 7 reporting from Sydney also.

So the ITV News Sport Editor is in Cape Town to report on the Shrien Dewani murder trial which is non-sport related. Do they do this often?!

You'd be surprised at the number of people in TV who also do things which would fall outside their job title. I've even seen a presenter walking around sorting out teas and coffees for the crew in the past Surprised Shocked

Well looking at the current sport stories dominating the news a couple of weeks in Cape Town probably appealed over a few nights in Wigan!

They seem to have dropped the studio shots before the break, now the graphics fade into the break. Looks rather messy imo.

I'm sure they've always faded straight to break from a VT, they still do a wide shot into the break if they previous shot is the studio too.

There's been no wide shot into the breaks.

Today maybe, recently there has been wide shots and there has been the Steadicam run around too.

The 6am titles today stopped for about a second on a few occasions meaning that the GMB logo zoomed in about halfway through the studio shot
