Let's hope it doesn't dwarf the contestants. 6 people could easily get lost on a stage that size - let alone a single performer. But stage presence is stage presence.
Love what I saw on that clip - let's hope they avoid putting "video" in the walls and keep it to textures and pseudo-lighting. (I still think Oslo's video-free design in 2010 was a great watch. If you aren't careful LED/Projected video looks great in wide shots, but compromises close-ups)
The problem with massive stages is the performers can become insignificant - and at its heart it's supposed to be a a song (or at least performance) contest. The stage in Dusseldorf was a good (i.e. bad) example of this IMO - the performers seemed lost amidst the staging and too many of the camera angles for my liking were too much set and not enough people...
EDIT
Last time DR hosted the song contest it was in the Parken Stadium and although it was the largest on-the-night audience at the time (still is?), it was criticised by a lot of those there for being too far away for them to see and hear properly. There didn't seem to be much audience atmosphere watching at home at least.
Looks like the graphic design is quite similar to last year (same typeface etc.) Slightly strange that they seem to have the points on the left of the countries flag on this image- although it's possible it'll be different on screen.

I like it. Reminds me a little bit of Norway 1996.
