No more Love 'insert year here's idents. A refreshing change!

What was that? Looked like something off of Carlton from 1998ish.

I've never agreed with stopping the Christmas idents at Midnight, they should continue until the end of the festive schedules, which would be the end of Friday 2nd January this year.

Simple but nice, though we'd have hated it if it was for Christmas. A few shows in the trailer I'd not heard about too - I guess The Big Painting Challenge is the latest attempt to rework the Bake Off format.

So is this brand new ident permanent I wonder? And will there be more of them?

Is this a surprise new ident package, or am I being over the top? Seems a bit out of place if it's on its own!

So did the Love 2014 one though. I doubt they'd have gone back to filmed Christmas idents if they were planning to dump the concept a few weeks later for graphical idents - though as this is the BBC stranger things have happened.

Must say though it's more British Gas than BBC One!

It's certainly a reinvention of the "circle" theme if it is to be a new ident set.
