They did, the repeats began in April 1993. They were always live on Sunday mornings when they did them, right back to when it was Now On Two in 1987. In fact there used to be on YouTube a clip of Simon Potter's first Sunday in 1987 where there's a breakdown and Potter has to fill like mad for five minutes, discussing the set in great detail. Think it's been taken down, though.

Yeah live CBBC on Sundays went back to the dawn of time, right up until Smile moving onto BBC Two in September 2002.

Used to love those long sprawling Sunday mornings with Philippa and Ratz, a chance to catchup on some repeats from the week, a few new commissions like Incredible Games and Timebusters and some random old archive stuff too like Grange Hill. All topped off with The O Zone!

. . . and then into the regional political shows at lunchtime, followed by Sunday Grandstand from April to October. When you think about it, BBC Two continuity announcers wouldn't have been too busy on Sundays during that area.

It's a shame that TV Room Plus is no longer updated. Always interesting to have a look through the old schedules.
