Is been going much longer than that, it used to be called Real Lives, essentially the same format (which bears no resemblance to Desert Island Disks at all) but often pre recorded and presented by anybody who happened to be available when the guest was, often Peter Levy.
It took a bit of a break and then came back as One on One.

Ah, that would make sense.
I think that political show is just once a month?

Is Alan Whitehouse still at the BBC? Not seen any of his fantastic transport related reports for a long time now.

He hasn't been at the BBC for a couple of years now, just found this tweet confirming.
Leaving BBC today after 20+ years. Thanks for following. Now follow @alaninyorkshire for occasional tweets on trains of all sizes!

Does anyone know who is replacing Kate Walby on Fridays on Calendar? Gaynor? Tina? Christa?
JT
Actually rate Tina Gelder as a presenter. Was the reserve to Gaynor when separate programme.

Seems to be a slightly different backdrop on Look North Ey&L tonight I thought. Maybe imagining it. Possibly just a different angle.

Came out of the blue, but in can't believe she's been there 8 years. I wonder what role she will be doing on Border, presumably reporting considering they don't actually make Lookaround in the Border region these days.
I hope they use Gaynor. Tina can be second reserve!

Back to Border again?! Pam Royle seems to be absent a lot from TTTV/Border at the moment so maybe connected with that.
