I can remember the article about the sky news newsroom shakeup this summer. Together with this possible new schedule they could implement the sky font graphics.

I'm not quite sure how you can connect a restructure of newsroom staff to a graphics refresh.

Baffling.

Any such information would be commercially-sensitive even if it were to be disclosing a lack of changes, so I'm afraid it's a topic on which I will not be drawn.

That is fair enough. I'm sure if such a thing were to happen, you'd give us a heads up a day or so before, in some way Smile

We should be grateful really. 10 years ago when a new presentation package (on any channel) was announced, we'd have to wait until the day of the launch to see it. Now broadcasters upload clips online before they've even premièred on TV (and usually in better - HD - quality than it will appear on TV).

Any posts from people "in the know" from these broadcasters that we obsess over, sometimes a little too much, is greatly appreciated.

As were on the issue of revamp's, the skcopter showed an image of construction site near the venue for the debate on Thursday. I can't find the camera shot with the half build building. Is this going to be the new Sky News studio and if so when is it due to be completed?

In 2010 they were:

Bears mentioning there'll also be a 30-minute Mon-Fri election round-up at 1130, presented by Adam Boulton, plus an extra edition of "Sky News Tonight" on Sundays up until the election.

From various planning applications and news articles posted here in the past, I think an educated guess would suggest that Sky News will move into the new cluster of buildings taking shape around Sky Studios but not until 2016/17.

I'm surprised at how little has come out so far about their coverage of the election. I'm guessing we'll be a lot wiser tomorrow.
