In all pictures and video, The Street look small yet expansive, in reality it is large and airy, the 'stairs' gives so many pres points too.

I'm not quite sure what you mean. Small and expansive are more or less opposites of each other.

Wrong choice of words, it looks like a big space in general but looking at specific ares, they look small.

I lost count of how many times the phrase "thrown the kitchen sink at it" was used just now on the 6.30 ITV News.

I notice that, according to the STV schedule for 19 September, the ITV News summary at 10:55 a.m. is still being broadcast on STV. What's the point in having an ITV News summary on STV at 10:55 a.m. when a half-hour STV News programme is being broadcast at 1:30 instead of the ITV News at 1:30, for which the 10:55 summary serves as a preview?

To be honest, I think STV might have enough on its plate come Friday morning, without having to worry about a short mid-morning news summary. With all the extra programming it is committed to already, it might just be easier to take the network summary instead.

Although who knows? I guess it's still possible arrangements could end up changing on the actual day ...

Is there a reason why the BBC chose to use that purple shape instead of something more symbolic of Scotland such as a flag or coat of arms? Is it a random shape or an emblem of some sort?

If they used say the Saltire then I'm sure it would not be considered very impartial. I think they very simple logo has worked well and led to some very clean looking images on screens in the studios.

'Special' edition of GMB from Edinburgh on Friday. With GMB's Americanisation, will we get some OOT yet absolutely brilliant GFX and music?
