A bit more light and that would look great imo

What time does the new studio appear on-screen?

Just after half six. Will be interesting trying to catch this now that all the regions on Sky are just "ITV"

The BBC have no problem in naming the regions on Sky, so why ITV has to be awkward...

Granada's new set looks good, though no mention of the move and new look on the programme.

The wall on which the TV sits looks more grey than white... I hope they find the light switch soon.

Shame the museum wasn't lit up but obviously they've not got any control over that!

I quite like the look of it though I wish the desk was a bit higher up and larger.

Wonder if it changes lighting via the times of the day, will the desk move round when its for 6pm show? Also how will it work with guests.

Its nice enough. But only have a window if there is something worth seeing I say.

No offence to AxG but his caps make the studio look very dim - it still looks a bit dim but it's a lot brighter on my set.

EDIT: That screen is WAY too dark.

I look forward to see how this new generic ITV News regional set will work with dual presenters as I can't see both presenters being so close together.

That's Windows Media Center, although recorded content played through Windows Media Player are brighter.

That shot works really well but the others just didn't - I don't get why the desk is positioned that way rather than with the presenter sat in front of the window - and I'm sure from that snippet we saw the other week there is a second screen too opposite the first.

That studio looks very dark and empty doesn't it. And the view outside the window isn't great, there's a lot of reflection going on as well, very Daybreak version 1!

All in all not an improvement at all, though I guess wait til 6 tomorrow to see if it looks any better with two people.

Well I for one think it's a fantastic improvement on the old set. The lighting seemed fine when I was watching (but I agree the monitor could have its brightness increased).
