Alison Tarpey produced "A Brush With The Mersey", the programme presented by Jo Blythe mentioned above.

Cerys Griffiths is now working at North West Tonight.

Well I thought it was quite interesting that both GR and NWT had the same man interviewed, but he must have very quickly made his way from Quay Street, as he was at Oxford Road for 6.30pm.

They're just glad that both programmes don't go out at the same time.

Did they? missed that. I know this is not really Granada Reports but i see NWT have a new look website www.bbc.co.uk/northwesttonight and i see the webcam is back on there to. Shame Granada Reports don't have a webcam but a mate of mine told me who worked at Granada back in the 90's the studio they use for Granada Reports has about 2 or 3 more other sets in there.

Looks like they get to watch BBC One on the Plasma!

About time they updated the NWT site, shame they can't update the programme.

Who is Andrew Bonner. He was a guest speaker at my schools award ceremony, and when I asled around, nobody knew who the heck he was. I know he works on Granada Reports, and one of my friends reckon he was on Out-take TV or one of the others. Any info would be appreciated.

PS He used to go to Wirral Grammar School for Boys.

Hiya i live in the Wirral, Andy Bonner is Granada's Merseyside reporter and i think he has also done the news for them at weekends once or twice. As far as i know he works at the Granda News Center in Liverpool.

Andy Bonner is a reporter for Granada Reports, I think he used to work at the BBC, as Granada poached a lot of people from NWT last year, Tony Morris and Ralph Blunsom being 2. Maybe that was why he was on Out Take TV, I know NWT's Dave Guest was on Out Take TV, as he made a few attempts to break some glass.

Nice little cock-up at 11.25am this morning, when going into Granada News they faded in to Anna Thomas a few seconds early and she was getting ready to be on, but it faded back to the titles after a couple of seconds.

Plus there was a new guy on Granada Weather this morning, who also made an appearance last week, his name was Steve, but he wasn't brilliant.

Yeah it was Steve Hadley - reminded me of Derren Brown. Thought he was about to shoot himself in the head actually...

I was wondering, are Granada Reports doing any sort of charity thing this year? Or in plain English will Paul Crone be visiting every town in the North West and North Wales doing collecting some money for a good cause everyday throughout August. It usually adds a bit more fun to Granada Reports, though I guess it wouldn't match with the new look.

Though tonight was the first time I watched it for a few days, the titles seem to be losing their colour slightly! In technical terms its going to get as bad as NWT! Laughing

Yeah we need Paul Crone doing something over the summer it would not be the same. We saw him last year at Park Gate on the Wirral and sent him £5 for Air Ambulance, so i hope they do something again but no word so far about it. Crying or Very sad

Paul Crone now works for the North West Air Ambulance, that is why you only see him Reporting on Thursdays.

If Granada were doing anything over the Summer I personally think we would have heard about it long before now.
