As much a nutjob as the guy may be, I thought Brillo telling him to shut up and later doing the 'this guy is mental' gesture was inappropriate.

Well he was telling him to shut up because he was constantly saying stuff when David Aaronovitch was speaking. Doing the loony gestures is all part of the character of Andrew Neil and the programme. Clearly Alex Jones was playing up to the cameras.

Actually, (and I've normally got absolutely no time for him) Piers Morgan dealt with Jones brilliantly, and with dignity
when he had a very similar rant (and started hurling abuse at Morgan) on his CNN show. It's well recorded on You Tube,

It was hilarious! I loved it. And Alex Jones is a complete tool. In regard to the Morgan interview, he just came across as completely immature - that fake English accent he was doing... wtf
Oh my days, what a bell end.

I'm now in love with Andrew Neil.

That's the thing, sometimes if you let people like Alex speak and speak, they'll embarrass themselves. In that Piers Morgan interview he came across as a loony. I know that there were time constants on Sunday Politics, but if they'd just let him ramble, he'd have unravelled himself eventually.

I don't think Alex Jones cares whether 99% of the population think he's a nutter, in fact I doubt he's as nutty as he makes out, he knows if he can get a small amount of people to visit 'infowars.com' and buy his stuff he's made a lot of money.

So the BBC has done nothing but to serve his desire to make more money and increase his followers. If you didn't know about Alex Jones already, and you know now he's a nutter that's not going to negatively effect him and if you've been converted to his thinking that is cash in the bank for Jones.

Remember that's InfoWars.com

this week's This Week is presented by Emily Maitlis. You forget she's got a bit of a sense of humour.

They should've renamed it Good Week/Bad Week in her honour.
