Interesting to see that new channel bosses must be quite keen on Rachael - according to an earlier tweet, she will be moving North with Five Live, but will continue to travel down to London to do cover shifts for the channel.

Tim Willcox has today done 8am-12pm on BBC World News (plus anything else he might have done on there) 630-10pm on the News Channel, now he's back on the News Channel doing 1030pm-1am.

Hmmmm. Never know him to do anything quite like THAT all in one day before! Also this is his 9th consecutive day presenting on the News Channel. Highly unusual, I'm sure.

On another note, nice to see Tim doing a paper review with Fiona at the end of the Ten! Do you think they at BBC News read these forums? Just this time last week, we were discussing that Tim NEVER does a paper review with the Ten presenter!

Wonder if we'll see her make any Breakfast appearances as a relief presenter when that moves to Salford - she'd be good at that IMO

Yes, I know for a fact that TV Forum is widely read within both the BBC and ITN. I'm sure the same can be said for Sky News and other broadcasters.

I think she's just replaced Kasia Madera and Juliet Dunlop as occasional freelance newsreader, as both have moved on from that role. She's more than competent on-screen and, from her perspective, staying noticed by national staff in London can't be a bad career choice if you're moving to Salford. And in response to one of the above posts, I'd have no problem with her appearing on sport on Breakfast, but I think she might be a little wooden for Breakfast at this point. Gavin wouldn't approve.

Sophie Long doing the morning side of Maxine's shift this morning - meaning she'll be doing the lunchtime BBC One bulletin too.

Louise Minchin presented Weekend Breakfast on Radio Five Live this morning with Phil Williams. She has said on Twitter she is also presenting tomorrow.

Seems odd. Would have though she would have been on the TV Breakfast instead of Naga. Unless she is moving to Manchester and will be combining Breakfast with 5 Live relief work, with this weekend being a 'try out'?

Exactly...and would have done a better job!

Louise Minchin is on TV Breakfast next week Mon-Wed with Bill so it's not all bad.

I agree with those who don't rate Naga Munchetty - very annoying presenter IMO. Can't pinpoint what is so annoying about her though.
