Channel 5 Refresh

I've always been disappointed with Channel 5 for re branding and throwing away all the FIVE idents, and I believe their current logo's look cheap, and I'm not saying these are amazing, but your views would be appreciated so I can adapt them

Not a massive fan of these, I think you show some design talent and potential. They'd be alright for something youth orientated. But simply not strong enough for the entire Channel 5 brand. Not sure what you've done with 5* works either.

The colours don't work either.

These are ok.
The only things that needs changing is the 5 and the colours.

You need to improve the 5* ident as well.

The 5 doesn't stand out enough, it looks bland.

Okay, I've played with the colour and tried to make the shapes more interesting. And a look to see how it would work in a more serious colour palette.

It looks better, but it's too youth. Quite like the 5* logo.

The 5 is now fine, and the colours are ok.

You may wanna play around with the 5 USA and 5 News logos are bit more though. Try and make it represent what it stands for. Make the USA ident more American looking.

This is going rather quickly but I have made a few small changes and mocked up a "coming up" screen... version 2.5 if you like

The text looks like it's been thrown on the screen... Maybe give them a layout

The 5 Shake ident is bad. Try to represent it Children's theme. The other idents are fine but the schedule slide needs a lot of improving.

They're logos rather than idents, any themes can be expressed in the ident, the Shake logo used to be plain 'shake' in Helvetica.

I see your point, but the Shake logo is still dull and needs improvement.
