If the words ident, sting and ECP mean something to you, you can probably skip this section. Basically the site is dedicated to the bits before, after and in-between the programmes. From the voices you hear introducing the shows, to the clips you see at the time and the occasional spectacular cockup - they're all discussed here.

The forum began on 22nd March 2001 as part of presentation site TV Home. It was felt there was a need for those who wanted to talk about the type of content featured on the site. It quickly grew and relaunched on 25th August that year after over spilling its sister site's bandwidth and was unleashed as a site in its own right. Since then it has grown into the community you see today - six forums and plenty of active chat. The site averages over 700,000 page views and 6,500 posts per month!

Forums:

• TV Home Forum
  Is the main forum for visitors. Here, you can post messages about television presentation or anything regarding television in general except news presentation.
   
• The Newsroom
  This is for television news presentation including national and international news channels, presenters and developments.
   
• The Lounge
  A general chat area for non-related comment is available at Metropol 24/7. This site is independent of TV Forum, with its own admin and moderating team but many members here regularly post there.
   
• Media Websites Forum
  Here you can talk about your media based website or one you'd like to recommend. Feel free to ask for ideas, content for your website or to inform visitors of updates to existing sites.
   
• Mock Designs
  This is where members are free to air mock designs of anything related to television presentation, including fictitious or real channels.
   
• Requests
  If you've got a specific question (usually, but not limited to multimedia) that you want answered, post it here and hopefully someone can help.
