Watch out for some very funny clips of Paddy from World Business Report coming up near the end as well
Awwww that was fab! My fave moments have to be the subtle voice over with the word "Stuart" in "I'm gonna kill...." from some film or other, and of course the drawing on his piccy, and of course what NickyS just mentioned there, LOVE that clip! They seemed genuinely sad at the end too.
I'll miss it, there isn't anything quite like it on TV. Tsk @ Stuart Murphy is all I can say...

A very good final show - the amount of honesty about the show's ups and downs, particularly in the summer of 2002 in the ten minute best-of sequence was quite brilliant. A sad loss...but good that they went with dignity at the end and dedicated it to Christopher.

I think that last edition was exceptional. Credit to everyone involved for a great ending - the closing report was wonderful and the closing link had exactly the right tone, especially with the dedication to Christopher Price.
The whole thing was so honest, and they made it no secret that Stuart Thing isn't too popular in the Liquid News office.
Excellent.

Do you think this last show was just for people like us? Thinks like Paddy saying 'this is the last time we will show the pointless sting', and giving a history about the early years saying 'going out on BBC Choice and regular slots on BBC World, BBC Prime and BBC One'..
It was a nice way to end a long running show. Did anyone else sence a lack of smug-ness when Paddy said goodnight?
Also i felt the need to watch the Chis Price tribute afterwards. I think thats the third time ive seen that now.

I also have the final show and the accompanying tribute to Christopher Price recorded. If anybody missed these and wants to see them then say so and I will make it available (busy at the moment!).
I'm not saying it for the sake of it (!), but I for one would love to see bits of the final show again when you have the time...

He actually said it went out on BBC America, BBC Prime and BBC One.
I thought last nights last ever liquid was very good and it was a nice way to end a long running and still popular show like liquid. i liked the maggages people had sent the show which were on the screen - funny ones like "When does LN end" and "I used to watch it" were quite funny and Colin's report where instaed of the video clip saying Kill Bill it has Colin's voice saying Stuart instead!
Also liked the way Claudia was very honest as to why it was going, the fact that it was popular but just not enough of us lot watched it.
Liquid News will be missed but ofcourse it will remain forever in TV History just like BBC Choice, ITV Digital, Shop! The Value channel plus much more which is now just a distent memory.
