What's the name of the Weekend World presenter??? Didn't he used to anchor WBR from NY in the early 2000s?

I'm enjoying the HUB and how they are using the background on the barco and the camara angles. It feels like a different studio. Overall a good change for the channel.

I agree with Zack. Overall 9 out of 10. Well done.

I like the Hub, but I feel like they make Nik stand for too long. He is one of the oldest presenters on the channel, maybe even the oldest.

I don't know if this topic has already brought up, but did anyone noticed BBC Arabic lately?

Nice to see Karin Giannone back on BBC World, where the first weekend after the "re-vamp" sees the news being presented from the original position at the main desk, minus any special palette-splashing on the glass behind. Just plain old clear.

And today is the first time I can ever recall BBC World screening a report from a Blue Peter presenter!! No dumbing down there, then................

I don't watch it often, so this might have been the case for a while, but how long has 'Reporters' had titles that are consistent with the current BBC News look?

am I the only person not really liking this revamp, I don't understand why regular news bulletins from a tiny little desk, and on the main shows, the presenters sit on the side of the main desk, also I don't like the constant programme strap that's permantly on, it should be used for 5-8 seconds at the start of the report and faded out.

I think the small area would look substantially better if they got rid of the fake control room background, which looks bad. I think they should put the fake N6 backgrounds up on the plasmas...it does seem silly seeing as they are in a newsroom studio, but not much is seen from that area, so it might be an improvement.

This was the first weekend with the new animation for "Reporters" (Love the 'blooming' globes).

Fabulous revamp in terms of studio, graphics, camera positions, LED lighting and - frequently overlooked - content. Great also to see UK Report over the weekend, after considerable lobbying, and the various upgrades to title sequences, plus 16:9 from Singapore. One tiny reservation is the new tower created by the animated programme title straps. It's really quite distracting.
