UKTV Rebrand and new channel

So why does it matter so much then?

If noone will ever see it then why waste time and possibly money changing it?

How should we know?

Perhaps they're offsetting the design costs against their tax liabilities. Perhaps the new one looks nicer on the wall of their head office. Perhaps the Chief Executive's daughter didn't like the old one.

In any event, they're a private company and they can spend their money as they see fit.

This one definitely falls under the category of "mind your own business".

No offence, mind.

Again why does that matter to you?

Presumably the old one was intended for the telly but then they wanted one just for web/print use. I'm sure it didn't take much in the way of resources.. there's only so much you can do with 4 letters

All UKTV promos have changed with the channel logo and programme info displayed at the bottom right, with the endboard info now all centred.

Next step will be the addition of the UKTV logo somewhere on them...

I don't like dragging up old topics and going slightly off-topic, but reading around, the Dave original programme, Argumental is going to be on BBC TWO from this Sunday at 11.30pm, although it's on a bit late, I always thought that this would be shown on the Beeb at some point. First UKTV programme after Rock Profile to be shown on the BBC aswell.

They showed Market Kitchen last year actually.
