A nice idea, but horribly executed IMO. Perhaps it would look a bit better if the daytime schedule was somehow collapsible so that the empty space in the BBC Three/Four columns could be hidden, and a lot of scrolling avoided.

I've never seen this feature used before when clicking URLs leading to external sites.

not really, but I only seen it a few times over the past two months

It's always been there but it doesn't appear (usually) when you click the link from a bbc.co.uk page, only an external one (eg TV Forum).

Eastenders has had a revamp, I don't know if today it has launched

I think that might have launched at the end of November, but I'm not certain. There have been so many language site launches I've lost track. By my reckoning there is another 20 to go, so it looks like another busy year for the Future Media team at World Service.

Change to top of BBC News website this morning - looks like it's not quite worked!
