It's been a while since we've had one of these in this thread, but...
Is Elizabeth Saary pregnant? Looked like it the other night.
I'm sure of it, and i'm pretty sure Nina Ridge is as well.
BBC weathergirls are like Pringles, once they pop, they can't stop!
Did anyone just see the start of the weather on BBC One? When they cut to the weather studio there was a graphic advertising the News Multiscreen weather thing, and then John Hammond quickly grabbed his clicker from somewhere off to the left. Clearly had been rehearsing and mistimed how long he had left to go.
Not the first time he's done it either...

He already had his clicker - he was just re-setting the graphics back to the start of the sequence on the playout system to his right.

The
Newsnight
weather forecast was reinstated (albeit briefly) last night - it was presented by (I think) Rob McElwee (so no 'take an umbrella with you tomorrow'). Unusually, there was no motion between the slides, the camera simply faded from one position to another. That's probably because of the isobars and the great big '
LOW
' on the map, but why the Metra system wouldn't be able to handle them I don't know.
They've been using that on the regular forecasts for the last day or so. The pressure chats are part of the new software, presumably they had to do the one-off newsnight weather from a non-weather studio

But there was movement in the forecast within the globe at the top of the forecast, it is more probable that the system was running slow.
