What the hell were those titles!!! Also no 24 on the bottom logo
I am liking the simple straps, with a hint of bevel, and a nic diagonal shimmer on the left of the strap
Also some subtle transparencies, which remind me of Sky News

One word - Wow! That is very very nice I must say - how very funky! The music is fantastic. Its got so much more oomph. The graphics are beautiful. AND it looks like the '24' and clock is gone from the logo on News 24 - didn't it always have the '24' part and the clock during TWT? And you can easily see where the ticker will be. Very Sky News-like that way.

Ticker now on screen, but no clock
The Ticker displays the type of ticker say "headlines" or "business" and the text fades away as the text scrolls on.

So do the new gfx really save real-estate on the bottom of the screen ...
or take up just as much as before?
I really like the clock on the top-left ... looks groovy.
They included it for the first report on BBC World, by the way (with "local time" label).
I think the extra left margin before the BBC logo on the ticker is a smart move that should have been obvious, in retrospect.

Nice blue straps, with a box with imagary for World Business Report. Name Straps are always black with a hint of red on the left.
The Live Box is fairly large and higher up.
The Ticker is a little low on my Widescreen CRT, but naturally fine on my LCD HD screen.
No clock is a surprise. I imagine one will be added somewhere for Breakfast. Also as speculated the 24 is dropped from the DOG.
I would love for the National News and Regions to adopt these graphics, but sadly I feel it isnt to be...

How do the straps animate, and where's the clock on N24?
