Yes and she was fired a month ago alongside Ginny Buckley.

They had to make some cuts after a failed relunch in October 2005,when Ginny joined the channel. Juliette worked for Sky much longer and it was a suprise when she was fired.

Wow, and this afternoon he's presenting midday-7pm again on World. He's trying to emulate Alastair Yates.

How can you somebody try to emulate Al? You just can't. I think currently that Al and Tanya are the best World presenters. I can't stand Katty though.

I like Katty Kay. Beautiful and elegant.

During the 1315GMT edition of Sport Today a Breking News strap appeared and kept telling us about Israel attacking the Lebanese-Syrian border for the whole programme.
I think there's no point in watching golf news and at the same time being told about a major story. If there's something important to tell the audience the news presenter should pop up, otherwise let's just continue with the normal programming.
After News24's audience was first told about the Pope's death by a breaking news strap suddenly appeared under Stephen Cole's cheerful face I think they should've learnt something.

Well, Katty Kay is ok, but I just don't like her,I don't really know what botheres me about her, I think it would be better if she and Tanya switched places.

Edit:
I was watching the news yesterday, and since Tanya hosted it in the NY set, I realised how cramped that set was, and when that othere lady did the buisness news there was that red background and it looked really good. If tanya could stand up, or at least re-aign the desk to make it look ess cramped, or at least utiized the video wall, it woud look a llot better.

Katty and Tayna are as bad as each other I would like to see them gone and give someone else at go in america. As for the New York backdrop, its disgusting and needs to go.

Does anyone know why I can not see Top Gear on BBC World in Canada anymore? I've been watching it for years, and recently when I go to watch it, another programme cuts on instead. Mad

Fabulous news that Juliette Foster has joined BBC World, although not sure for how long. It was inevitable that a talent like that would have been snapped up quickly by one of the major outlets.

I am pretty sure that Juliette's presentation will not be limited to Business News. I would expect to see her eventually become weekend anchor, perhaps taking over from Phillipa Thomas?

Let's see.

Top Gear's taken a break in the UK for a few weeks (to make way for various sporting events), and will be back soon - it may just be taking a break on World too.
