The poor weather Stateside increased the number of viewers, this Superbowl now takes the 27 year old record for the most watched TV Programme away from the M*A*S*H finale.

It attracted 106.5M Viewers according to Nielsen Ratings.

I doubt they'll be much more. Last year 106m watched world wide, but 98m of those were in the States, so I doubt it'll be much more than 110m.

I doubt they'll be much more. Last year 106m watched world wide, but 98m of those were in the States, so I doubt it'll be much more than 110m.

Not quite sure how to reply to that. I just feel this isn't something that can be turned into much of a discussion** and is something that doesn't really fit into what the forum is about, however I'm probably going to proved wrong.

And for the record please don't take anything I say on the forum to heart, I usually don't mean it. Smile

**EDIT: Also worth pointing out the person wanting us to discuss it, doesn't discuss it himself.

Beyond finding out how many viewers it got in each country in which it was shown, of course, which shouldn't actually be that difficult for anyone who can be bothered to do the research.

Beyond finding out how many viewers it got in each country in which it was shown, of course, which shouldn't actually be that difficult for anyone who can be bothered to do the research.

But the accuracy of audience research is going to differ from country to country.
