I think there's too much of a mish mash of brands. Having GMTV News and ITV News on screen at the same time doesn't work, it just confuses things, is it ITV News or is it GMTV News? Again on the local news, on the titles you have GMTV Calendar, then in the studio you have GMTV ITV Calandar.
I thinjk you need to work on some fo the gradients and textures too, Yellow and Black are hard to work with in Gradient terms as the yellow tends to end up looking mucky.
I'm slightly amused by the "RAINY WEATHER with Phillipa", surely it should just be weather with Philipa and a summary elsewhere. What happens when you get a variety of weather across the country? Sunny, rainy, windy weather with Philipa?
On the two way graphic, it looks a bit empty, what they tend to do is crop the sides of a shot and have a more portrait shaped images side by side rather than two uncropped widescreen shaped ones. Also on this, why have you chosen a white to grey background, where the rest of the package is a yellow to black? (I think I actually prefer the white to grey though).
Layouts are generally fine though, just need to tweek a few things.
