EastEnders character Lauara Beale will be killed off in a major new storyline this Spring, The Sun says today.

The ball will be set rolling when Laura - actress Hannah Waterman - tells mechanic Garry hobbs that he is not the father of her son Bobby, before coming clean to Ian once and for all.

The news sends "shockwaves" through the Square in a storyline which ends with Laura's death.

“Only one character in EastEnders history has returned from the place that Laura’s going to - Dirty Den," said Waterman. “It is a really fantastic exit for Laura. And it’s much more satisfying than getting a cab out of Albert Square.”

Damn. No Ferreira massacre?

Inside Soap also suggests that someone dies this April. Dot, Jim, Pauline, Derek, Yolande & Patrick go on holiday on the South Coast, one couple get engaged and one member returns in a box!

Must be Yolande & Patrick that get engaged and at a guess, Jim who dies.

I've got a feeling yolande's leaving. Jim won't die!

I heard that Jim dies, and then Patrick marries Dot, and that Yolande leaves to go back with her husband.

Lets hope Ian sticks her in the chip fryer.

Pauline - Dies in hold-up at the laundrette, "she should have just given the wash and go"

Ian - Opens his wallet, and a 6ft mouth appears and eat him
Dot - Gets drunk on the communial wine, and has wild sex with Martin, before having a heart attack.
Pat - Run over by a milkflout.
Laura - Ian murders her I the fryer

Gus - Welard turns nasty.
Derek - Buggared senseless in gangbang - featuring G-String Jim, Pussy Patrick and Phil the gap
